I purchased these boots for a three day quail hunting trip in Thomasville, GA that I went on after Christmas with my family. Usually I just wear my work boots but I figured it was time to finally purchase a pair of dedicated hunting boots. I wore them for about a week prior to the trip just to ensure that I wouldn't be stuck hunting with a pair of blister causing boots. The boots wear like a dream. They are light weight and extremely comfortable. Hunting in them was great. My only complaint (more of an observation than a complaint) is that they caused my feet to sweat more than they typically do. I assume this is because of the GORE-TEX lining. On the flip side of that the GORE-TEX lining provided an excellent barrier against the occasional puddle I encountered. I was a bit apprehensive about how these boots would stand up to the cat claw briars that have torn up my work boots over a couple of seasons of hunting in them. After three full days of traipsing through the woods and the briars these boots still look brand new. I highly recommend these to anyone looking for a quality hunting boot.
