Men's Irish Setter 9" WingShooter Moc Toe WP

I bought these boots because of past experience/reputation of Irish Setters.I hunt wild quail and walk miles and miles some days.Fit great when I put them on, noticed very stiff...That's OK...They'll break in and loosen up...I've worked in them , hunted quail in them from Ga to Texas and all between...2cnd season and still stiff??...Alot of leg fatigue at the end of the day?...Totally shocked and disappointed in these boots , mainly because of the leg fatigue!..Great ankle support , great waterproof and extremely rugged...but the leg fatigue cuts hunts short , even though I still wear them because of support with rugged terrain...Now looking for another boot with ankle support , but more comfortable.If they were as comfortable as rugged/waterproof/support...easy 5 star!!!

I've had these boots for 6 months that I wear on the job almost daily. I buy new upland boots every 10-12 months to wear on the job (Game Warden). They are waterproof, so far. The sole seem to be standing up to the wear and tear of the rugged terrain I patrol on foot. The upper part of the boot looks like it will last as long as the sole too. The suede finish starts to turn black after some time giving the appearance that the shoe is older than it is. I've had to replace the shoe laces because the speed lace hooks cut the original shoe lace on the first hook. Maybe it's my fault? Maybe it was a bad shoe lace, who knows? I've had lots of upland boots and never had to replace a shoe lace before though??? They are heavier than other upland boots I purchased, and walking in them all day seems to be fatiguing, more so than other upland I've owned (and I've owned a lot of upland boots over the years). If you are looking for a tough, rugged, waterproof boot that offers support for rugged terrain, these will do just fine. I'll buy a different boot next time, but these will do for the next year until I go through this process all over again.

I have the 9" wingshooters and used them for two seasons of upland hunting in eastern Montana. These are excellent boots in terms of fit, comfort (right out of the box), durability, traction, and water resistance. Proof of the latter is wearing these boots for two days in rain soaked high cover (grass / reeds) and did not leak. Wore same to wade small streams with no leaks! I was amazed. Wore my higher dollar Brownings one morning and was wet in 5 minutes. A variety of boot brands in my hunting party and they all had wet feet. Not me! I have walked all day repeatedly in these boots and not come away with sore feet or blisters. You can't go wrong with these boots. Fit is on the mark. I wear an 11-D shoe and these boots fit true with a medium weight acrylic wool hiking sock.

These boots were a solid purchase. Comfortable, and so far, waterproof. I've been wearing mine daily since I got them. They've served me well hunting pheasants, geese in the field, and deer.

I have awful feet. They hurt just sitting. These boots in wide are my most comfortable footwear. I would wear them to my nieces wedding but my wife will divorce me if I do.

This style workboot is very well made. Comfortable. It was a little more in price than I usually pay for boots, but was well worth the extra money. Would most definately recommend this product.

I bought these for upland hunting and had hoped they would require little break-in. My ankles were irritated within 2 minutes. Definetly do not compare to Danners for comfort. Had to send them back. If you like a stiff boot, these will work. They do seem well made though.
