Men's Irish Setter RutMaster 800G

The boots were very comfortable to wear and walk around in.If any one decides to purchase a pair of these boots keep in mind they run a full size smaller. After 3 months I noticed the left boot had a leak, so I returned them for a different pair. Good luck

This past year I moved to the Rutmaster 800 gram insulated boot and I could not be happier. While chasing whitetails through bogs, swamps, marshes, mud, etc. my dogs stayed dry and warm and had little barking when the temp bottomed out. There is plenty of room for heavy insulated/wicking socks (I'm a 10 and bought an 11) and if you so desire a foot warmer when you're in stand there's room. Getting them on and off is a breeze compared to other rubber boots I've owned - but still they are rubber boots not sneakers and it takes some effort. I highly recommend these over the other options. Spent over 35 days in the field hunting with these boots this past season without incident. These boots rock!

Just got them so I can only comment on fit - not durability. They seem to fit a little small (you may need to order a size bigger than normal). I didn't and am hoping that they stretch or 'relax' a little - for more reason than just that. They are VERY difficult to get on and even HARDER to get off - like taking ski boots off without undoing the buckles - seriously. The exoflex gimic likely works in that it probably makes it easier for you to get your foot to the really hard part - but it's not located at the tightest part of the boot. If you've done your research you'll note that Irish Setter boasts their "locked-in fit". That's the problem - once you get past the exoflex panel you have to push and pull like crazy to get your heel down into the boot. To their credit the boot feels great when its on - which is good because you're not going to want to take it off. When it does comes time to get them off you better have someone to help you. The tabs on the back of the boot are not nearly enough to be of any assistance. By the time you get a big enough size to make it easy to get on and off it'll be far too big once its on. Good ideas, from a decent company but I think they've missed the mark a little on their first attempt at rubber boots. Certainly don't believe all the "easy on, easy off marketing hype". I do hope they don't give up though as I've tried all of their other knee boots and came to the (expensive) conclusion that the only "waterproof" boot is a rubber boot so I"m glad to see them breaking into this market and will gladly buy a pair of their next attempt.

These boots are comfortable,warm, water proof and easy on off when you buy the correct size needed. Cabelas has a printable shoe size chart to help determine your size. I will be purchasing the uninsulated boots for warm weather use as i currently have the 800 gram. They are well worth the money!!!

Like the boots but, if you get them order 2 sizes over what you normally wear. I normally wear a wide 11 and ordered a 12 and they are snug and hard to get on and off. Wish i went with 2 over. No room for extra socks. They are really comfortable though.
